What does it mean to become a Christian, a believer, a follower of Christ? Some people think you can be a Christian and go to heaven simply by going to a church, synagogue, or mosque. Others think it means being a good person or helpful neighbor. The Bible, on the other hand, points to only one way.
The Savior of all mankind was asked, “How can we know the way?” The reply holds the key to you and everyone’s future:
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the light: no man cometh unto the father, but by me” (John 4:16).
God’s Word also tells us that salvation comes as men and women call upon the Lord. Are you ready to discover how to receive Him as Lord and Savior? God’s free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ is the greatest miracle of all, and it is my prayer for you that you will receive this free gift right now!
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher? And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! (Romans 10:13-15).
Discover forgiveness, a personal relationship with God, peace, freedom from bondage, wisdom and our Father’s plan for your life.
When we accept Jesus as Savior and begin a relationship with Him, we are a “born again Christian”. Jesus lives inside of you. You are freed from the overwhelming penalty of sin. As you obey God’s commandments and apply His principles for daily living the transformation continues. The bible says,
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).
As you allow Him to take control and as you choose daily to walk in His obedience, you become more and more like him.
Please stay connected to the body of Christ and let us know that you have accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal savior.
